Andy is a proud and active alumnus of the University of Virginia, which takes a lot of guts in this town! He graduated in 1980 and served as Vice President of his fraternity, Chi Phi. His degree in Civil Engineering has not gone wasted, as it requires a keen grasp of the minutia to simplify a matter to its essence, which he excels at. He founded Fee-Only Financial Planning, LC in 1981 and he remains the constant that has sustained and grown it each year since.
He enjoys watching his daughter ride her horses, his wife do his work for him, and his son dedicate himself to advancing through the Black Belt Taekwondo ranks. He is active in his son's Scouting adventures and attends Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with his family.

Andy works hard and is just as big a believer in playing hard. He is a competitive golfer, enthusiastic amateur handball player and occasional bridge player. He enjoys the great outdoors year round, hunting, fishing or just enjoying the view from his tractor. The only thing you'll never catch Andy doing is nothing at all.
